"Check in time 2pm up to 3.30pm room not ready after I arrived they said cleaner clean the room. Checked in floor and bathrooms are wet. And lift out of service use the stairs all the time. No responsible for anything. When checked out time the keep asking what time going to check out. Resultant and bars are expensive "

Es liegt an der Mündung des Bentotaflusses, welcher Berge von Müll heranspült. Baden im Meer nicht wirklich schön, auch wegen den gefährlichen Strömungen. Man badet also ausschließlich im Pool. Das ist sehr traurig!"

"Such an incredibly beautiful property, the rooms had such beautiful Dutch old world charm. If you have the budget spurge and get the Admiral Suite. It’s huge!!!!!! I felt like a true queen with it all to myself. I also opted for the full board. As with many other I can confirm the food is outstanding. "We wanted a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a pool and view and good service. This hotel didn’t disappoint us. There are only six rooms so the service was personal and exceptional. The hotel is located at the quieter end of the Hikkadawa stretch of beach which suited us. The livelier bars and hotels were only a short walk away too. There are buses every five minutes just outside that took us to the Tsunami museum one day and Galle Fort another for about 50p each, each way. Great fun and...

"The staff were excellent especially the restaurant manager and the guest relations who were very accommodating and attentive to our needs Breakfast and evening meal were very good The sea can be quite rough but enjoyable at the same time with a soft sandy beach and warm water, the pool is not very big and the beach towels not very good Once again the staff are excellent"

"The best place to stay. This is boutique accommodation on a quiet street, a short drive to the main attractions. I loved being surrounded by nature in the pool, seeing beautiful birds and monkeys in the trees, bats and fireflies at night. Staying here was the highlight of our time in Galle.
