"Our stay at Vilankulo Beach Lodge was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and always delivered with a smile, making us feel both comfortable and valued throughout our stay.
One thing that truly stood out was the sense of safety and peace we experienced. It allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings without a worry, which is priceless when traveling.

"We had a 5 night stay in Dec25. The staff were very welcoming and warm, with a smile. The buffet breakfast was simple but nice, and there was a Chef cooking individual egg facility for omelettes, etc. The hotel buildings, layouts, terraces, beach access and 2x pools were fine physically, clean and presentable, offering sun and shade. Our room was of good size and had a great little balcony to sit out on. However, the Management need to prioritise resources to ensuring reported faults...

"the service was seriously great. very helpful and friendly!
it was just their wifi and dstv services was not as advertised. the last 4 days we had no dstv, in the rooms only, which was unacceptable.
they "cleaned" the room everyday until we complained then it got cleaned properly.
also, you could not order anything you wanted from the hotel's food menu - they kept saying "we dont have that"."

"6 of us stayed at Villa 1 at Deacra and the overall trip was pretty good with a few caveats.
Positives
- The staff were amazing - e.g. Jill tried to find a way for our one veg-only members to find alternates (although avoid vilankulos if you can’t eat fish!), shuttles were organized for us to go to the restaraunts (tuk tuks cost about $5 for a one way trip for 3 people as well) and they were very responsive with any of our queries
- The views from the villa are great, and it’s a short 5-10...
