Bodmin Jail Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"As it was once a jail, the walls are thick and built under interesting (challenging) circumstances, which you can learn about. It feels like you are inside a sturdy fortress. The rooms are very well appointed and the bathroom is a highlight, with a waterfall shower and a fabulous bathtub placed on the tiles at the other end of a full length wall mirror. Lux. Staff were friendly and reserved, very easy to deal with. The restaurant/breakfast room is an old chapel. It’s impressive. Had a lovely quiet stay here, thick walls and the small windows of the cell."

"Great location for the beaches. We have stayed a few times to visit family and find it very good every time. Rooms very clean, staff helpful and friendly, good Breakfast but pre book as it’s cheaper. 100% recommend."

"We enjoyed our self catering facilifies. There was so much to do at the location, i.e., mini golfing, golfing range, fairy dust walk by the river, gym, swimming and kids play area. There was everything for the whole family. The kids definitely loved it."
