"We had a great stay at Las Marias Cottages in Monteverde. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a peaceful place to relax while still being close to town and local attractions. The hosts, Alexander and Maria, were warm, responsive, and very helpful with local recommendations. Overall, a wonderful experience and a place we would happily stay at again. Highly recommended."

"I don’t recommend this hotel. Our room had zero ventilation so it got very hot and stuffy at night. There was no fan or ac so it was hard to sleep. There was zero housekeeping and when I needed items like toilet paper or a towel I had to find someone at the front desk - most of the time staff was no where to be found and the front desk was unattended. "Best spot we've stayed at in Costa Rica! The apartment is super modern, great amenities like Hot Tub, fully stacked kitchen, balcony and a great mattress. Christina and Jesse are awesome, super attentive and professional. Location is great too right on the wildlife refuge. Will be back for sure! "
