"The location was great - just a 10 min bike ride into town. The staff were top notch - they were all so amazing to deal with and really took care of you. The only disappointment was the room for how much I paid for it. I was expecting it to feel a bit more high end. It was a comfortable bed. The bathroom was tiny (if you are using the toilet your legs are pretty much touching the shower). Very basic otherwise. The lobby and breakfast and pool areas were nice and lots of bikes to rent. "This was an excellent choice for a day trip to Cinque Terra. Shert walk to the station and then 10 minutes to start Cinque Terra tour from the north. Much quieter than La Spezia and local secret I think. Right on the beach. The hosts were lovely people and though I booked the day later it was no trouble to change for me. They set a high standard in hospitality."
