"Great place to stay and excellent food"

"The staff are most welcoming and helpful. They make you feel that they really care about your experience at the hotel. If I owned an hotel I would be trying to poach them."

"Friendly and helpful staff and excellent food in restaurant. Nice Lochside location. Great location for visiting the nearby Dumfries House a short drive away."

"Clare was amazing from the start. The check in process was very smooth. We had a lot of space, the fittings were of high quality but the sofa and carpet could do with being replaced. I would definitely stay here again as it was very close to the beach, which is so lovely in this part of the world, but next time we would definitely fly to Scotland!"

"A clean and quiet B&B close to Ayr beach and Pavilion, within walking distance of the town centre. The owner is helpful, just remember to let them know your approximate arrival time."

"Linda as host was absolutely fantastic - the view from our room of the sea and the sunset was gorgeous! The bed was comfy, the room was quiet and my husband loved the shower!!!!! Absolutely stay again!!!"

"The apartment was located in central location - close to all restaurants, bars and the beach. However the apartment was located in a very industrial area. From the outset, the apartment looked good however the bathrooms were not cleaned, the living area were not vacuumed properly as there were crisp crumbs everywhere and when it rain the roof leaked in the middle of the living room. Very poor experience and never to book again."

"Huge apartment, convenient location to city and port, well appointed great beds and the best communication I have ever received, recommend."

"This property was absolutely amazing had gorgeous sea view lovely and modern brilliant play park right outside for kids my 10 year old granddaughter loved it ten minutes from lovely wee town with pretty shops and great places to eat will definitely return can’t recommend enough also if there was anything you needed extra towels etc staff are only a phone call away"

"Didn’t smell fresh, Mattress and pillows need protectors, wand needed for blinds to open and close. Attention to detail, ie grout in shower, and kitchen worktop.Place mats for table and small coffee table would be useful for hot drinks."

"The apartment is fine, there are decent facilities but it is in no way a luxury apartment! Very basic but nice and quiet"
