"Room wasn’t cleaned despite putting the sign onto the door the evening before. When going to reception the first morning, the lady on reception was rude and abrupt, with others standing nearby."

"Friendly staff room was satisfactory though few issues such as poor pressure to shower, broken tile in bathroom toilet flush was very difficult. Breakfast was average."

"I’ve stayed here 3 times before. The staff are excellent everytime. For some reason everytime I come I get the loudest rooms looking onto walls or roofs, whereas people I’m travelling with get balconies & views onto the courtyard. On this particular stay my room was next to a huge machine that was left on all night. It was incredibly loud & was hard to fall asleep. (To be fair I didn’t mention this to them at the time as it was 11pm & I had an early wake up the next day, so i’m unsure if they could have moved me or not.) On previous stays I’ve woken up at 7.30am to the noise of pickleball being played loudly in the sports hall. This last stay would potentially put me off coming back. It wasn’t a one off so I don’t think I’d want to take the risk again."

"The hotel was ok but the floorboards in the bedrooms creaked badly, breakfast wasn’t served until 8am at the weekend. We wouldn’t stay at this hotel again it’s not value for money."

"Very poor main light in bedroom...get some brighter bulbs!!! Bathroom lighting poor....no light over the mirror,difficult to wet shave and make-up!!!! As always bath towels too small for average sized person to wrap round at the waist....let's have proper BATH SHEETS next time you but towels....please!!!! Internal phone didn't work had to walk all the way down to reception to ask how the tv remote worked!!!! Get some basic instructions on the room amenities!!!!"
