"First class as always, this is our fourth visit and we are already planning our next one.
From a seamless check in with an amazingly warm welcome from Nicola and Cheryl who remembered us from previous visits. The room was excellent and the housekeeping team did a fabulous job throughout our stay, nothing is too much trouble. We are in the Pin bar and once again the food was lovely and all people we came across were helpful and polite.

"Excellent hotel . Our room was spacious, clean and had the benefit of air conditioning which was very welcome during this present heat wave. The lobby had an air of luxury and the gym was excellent.
We found the staff to be extremely helpful and courteous. All in all we had a lovely 3 night break and will definitely be staying there again. Highly recommended."

"The hotel is well positioned and presented, occupying a strategic location overlooking the town.
The room occupied was on par for the standard of the hotel, albeit the slope of the floor in the shower made you feel as though you might tumble out of the shower.
The restaurant felt somewhat cramped with tables sited at both ground level and on raised platforms, which gave the impression of either looking down on other diners or being watched.

"We arrived to check into an accessible room. No help was offered to navigate a small set of steps to our room. No explanation of the amenities available or what time breakfast was served . The following morning our television didn't work breakfast was £16.95 for full english so we ate elsewhere. "Prior to booking this hotel we specifically called up to ask whether there is air conditioning at this hotel. So imagine our disappointment to discover that the air conditioning did not work properly on one of the hottest days of the year. Not only blow warm air, it was also so noisy that we could not sleep. "Room was big and the bed was big. Very clean throughout. The walls and headboards were a little tired looking. Our first room had faulty air con and on our last night we were given another room. We got a 30% refund for the nights we had no air con. The screen casting worked well in our first room but didn't work in the new room we moved to and the engineer, while very polite, didn't understand the issue either. The bar, breakfasts and staff were very nice."

"The Hotel is set in lovely surroundings. Swimming pool is excellent. the room was small and a long way to walk to get to it. We had a large room facing the front gardens last time and prefer that even though it is a bit dated. The fried eggs they brought out for breakfast fresh from the kitchen were cold not certain how that happened.It was as if they came from the fridge."
