"Disappointing bedrooms, weird furniture, lot of road noise and street lights through poor quality curtains. Air conditioning not working in one room, coffee machine not working in another. Tiny towels and not much hot water. Expensive for the lack of quality in the bedrooms. Staff where good and the cocktail bar, lounge and dinning room where nice. Would not stay again"

"the hotel was extremely well located for the park and ride into York. Though on an A road didn't hear the traffic, however sometimes difficult to turn right out of the property. Breakfast was excellent. The area we stayed in needed updating and the room was quite warm even with the fan going. A lift where we were would be helpful, though there was one on the other side. If ever up in York again, we would definitely come again. "

"Had an issue with our room regarding a noise in the wall that started at 5am and continued we were moved next door which was quieter, wish we had known about the construction going on right outside the windows and start at 8am on weekends. Great location, and walkable into the centre, very convenient long stay public carpark just around the corner."
