"Boutique type hotel 10 minutes walk to cruise terminal 46 Southhampton. Excellent location opposite Queens Park, quiet. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen facilities, air con and bathroom. Slept well. Friendly staff although some are quite young and inexperienced. Slight negatives- tv reception not very good as stations dropped out, tv remote was filthy so I cleaned it myself, stairwell didn't seem to be cleaned in the 2 nights I was there. Didn't eat at the cafe inside hotel as I found a couple of nice ones nearby. Overall a good place to stay as rates quite high in Southampton."

"Lovely hotel. Additional Spa area is a little expensive at £40 per person but this was optional! Breakfast was lovely, staff really friendly. A lovely relaxing stay."

"Had an amazing stay. Staff were all very helpful. Really went above and beyond with lovely little touches in room especially for the kids who loved it! Would love to stay again in the future. Breakfast was lovely too! Highly recommend"

"A short overnight stay. Welcome was as expected. Car park was full so we had to pay to park on the road which was annoying. Room was clean and well equipped. Shower did not drain properly so you had to wash quickly! Some aspects of the repairs/maintenance were tired and not what you would expect from a 4* stay - but perhaps standards are lower these days?!"

"It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, beautiful and very clean, stunning decor, peaceful and gorgeous food. Me and mum love the New Forest and spent many many years in Brockenhurst so finding an excellent hotel has really made it for us, we will definitely be going back there 🏆❤️"

"Lovely Hotel , very clean and fab room but could of done with a bigger room with our Grandson.! Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. A tiny fridge would be helpful in the room but over all we had a lovely stay at the Birdham. What a lovely part of the Island Bembridge is, in my opinion the nicest exception apart from the Needles. Bembridge has lovely quiet beaches to visit and we found the people very friendly. Was a wonderful week🙂"
