"Excellent location and friendly staff make this a great place to stay in Salisbury. While the rooms are small, the beds were comfy and the bathroom top notch. What was unfortunate was the total lack of accessible power outlets. I would have expected the management to do something (anything!) to make the outlets more accessible. There is no excuse why they didn't provide an extension cord so we didn't have to move furniture to charge our phones."

"It’s a lovely 4 star hotel, but my room felt 3 star. It was comfortable, but a little tired. I was travelling solo and paid extra for a double room. It seems solo travellers are often slightly sidelined, and in this case my room was cosy but tucked out of the way next to the housekeeping store. This meant that a lie-in wasn’t really possible as staff arrived for work next door at 6am so there were doors closing and creaky floorboards outside until around 8am. Fortunately, I was out early myself most days, but this might be worth bearing in mind. My room was a little dusty and the curtains were fixed in place. I had to ask for them to be adjusted as they wouldn’t fully close. There was also a non-working plug socket and a blown bulb. I can’t fault the staff who were all lovely and quickly happy to help, the food was great and the restaurant and bar had a good atmosphere. I’d be happy to return, but I’d ask for a different room next time."
