To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. "Excellent location - if you pack lightly. Luggage not hard to carry from train station to the hotel. Property itself is a cute boutique hotel with attention to detail in every corner. Has a pool! It has 2 Michelin recommended restaurants, great food. There’s an elevator to take your luggage to the room. Rooms are modern and spacious! Do day trip to triberg, another gem of a town!"
