"Our hotel room was comfortable, very clean and spaciously well appointed. The staff at reception was courteous and anxious to help as needed, appreciated when arriving after flight issues at 11 pm. Netish was especially helpful when locating a driver to take us to York at the end of our stay. We found the staff in all areas of the hotel to be welcoming and friendly. "This is a great hotel that has all the necessary amenities to make a trip pleasant. We stayed 7 nights and it was the best decision we made to book here. Blackout curtains in the room were such a nice feature and the bathrooms and showers were top notch. The location is perfect and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We look forward to our next stay with Apex 💯"

"We stayed one night before out flight in the early morning. Front desk staff was excellent. Our room was just "okay". I wasn't expecting (or needing) anything fancy but there were some basics that I thought could be better: wifi was in a "dead zone" in our first room so we asked for a reassignment of rooms; room and hallways were quite warm; and small details such as a broken fridge door highlighted that some upkeep was needed. "We booked a room in top floor with wonderful views for 4 nights in May 2026. The hotel location is excellent in city center.
The drawbacks,1) We can hear/feel the passing train noise and shaking at night. 2)Next door hotel is under construction. 3)The mattress is too old with slopes which caused us sleepless. We asked to fix it or change room, and finally got to moved to another room, the 2nd room mattress is better.
They offered 2 cups of free wine and 2 morning breakfast for inconvenient.
