"A good location for exploring the area with easy parking. The room was OK for a night, but I would describe it as tired (e.g. carpet looking in need of a good clean or replacement, bed/mattress seen better days, and much dust inside the desk lamp). I cannot comment on the inclusive breakfast because it didn't start until 8 am and we needed to be away by 7:30."

"Breakfast was served in the main hotel, as the breakfast sometimes served in PAD for Manor House guests was closed. Breakfast was brilliant and sausages a stand out. Four poster room in the Manor House was great, nicely decorated and comfortable. Only niggle was getting ice from both room service and main hotel bar was near impossible. The handbook in the room said ice machines on every floor, which was clearly only the main hotel and not the Manor House. Tried then getting ice from room service who sent only an ice bucket pointless. Then went to the main hotel bar Merlin’s where bar staff questioned me where the ice was going. I’ve never had to justify why or where I wanted ice in a hotel. Use of the forum spa was fantastic and both relaxing and enjoyable. Lots of space and wasn’t too busy through our stay which was a bonus. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend to all."

"The room was smart, and laundry was clean, charging points, lights easy and plentiful. There was a stain on the carpet which was obvious and off putting, and at 4:15am I could not get hot water in the bathroom tap! Coffee and milk were good and bed was pretty comfy-it was a hot room but I could open the window and not noisy so that was simple! We had a light meal the night before which was disappointing in terms of portion sizes and undercooked garlic bread, but puddings were yummy! So overall, I would stay in the room happily but would not head back to the pub for a dinner without persuasion!"

"Clean pleasant room. You could hear through the walls though. Nice breakfast a bit pricey. Pool was nice. Bar food very average but expensive. "

"Clean room although cleaners tried to come in on our last morning before check out time. Dud apologise. Breakfast was good although sometimes a little tight on the coffee. Toast machine under does the toast on first pass, burns it on 2nd. Staff ok but a smile wouldn’t go amiss "
