"The welcome from the staff and service received the whole weekend was very good and has my thumbs up. However the room (although clean) was very 'dated'. The bed was comfortable, but the headboard was loose :) and I missed having a shower. But overall comfortable for the purpose of our stay, attending a wedding at a neighboring facility."

"Detail: I don't normally leave reviews but if I can help someone out, I hope this is it. Make sure to CALL BEFORE you book online and confirm if there is water. It is a basic human need but yeah, no water in the area during our 3 days there. It ruined the weekend but the staff could not do much. Fault should be placed on the owners to make sufficient back up plans for their Paying staff. "Cabbage tree cottage at stone hill was clean and comfortable, king size bed and the kitchen was very well stocked with appliances. Thoughtful touches for the pets with a secure garden for them. A lovely quiet and peaceful place for a relaxing weekend away."

The rooms are absolutely stunning, well-appointed, beautifully decorated with attention to detail and lovely little extra touches. The staff are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make things run smoothly even though they were experiencing load shedding in the area. "
