"The hotel was in a great location. However it is not easily accessible- we asked about a transfer and that couldn’t be provided. We arrived at 8 at night after a 5 hour ferry and had to bring heavy cases to the hotel on a steep hill with poor lighting. When we arrived there was no one on reception as the only member of staff was dealing with other guests. When we got to our room he didn’t know how to turn on the lights and he provided us with no information. The room was dated. Breakfast was...

"Athena Palace is a small aparthotel, with 14 apartments on two levels, right in front of the fantastic Aegean sea, west side of Karpathos island. It is not on the main road, so you do not hear noises or traffic , only the constant sound of the waves and wind.
Wifi is not very steady, but you do not really need it or care for this, in my opinion... Also, the kitchen equipment is a bit basic, but again you have plenty of tavernas to choose from anywhere on the island and there is no sense in...
