The location was perfect, close to the sea promenade with resturants and a kids playground for our son to play in after dinner. There's also a sizable supermarket that's a short walk to get water and groceries for our breakfast (which the kitchen had everything we needed). From start to finish this hotel and staff were amazing. It was clean and luxurious. Amazing location. Strong consistent wifi which is not always a given. Staff were very courteous and nothing was too much for them. Right in the centre of the old city. Hotel parking a short walk away - no traffic in old city. Directions to car park and then to hotel all provided unprompted in advance. Great spot to explore from. Jazz club playing in the square outside was fantastic and room was fairly well insulated from the noise. I did have wax earplugs which was helpful. I suspect you cannot stay in the old city without noise all around!
