We loved our stay at Donna Carmela, beautiful boutique hotel, no expense has been spared in making it as nice as possible. Staff were charming, and the off season prices were very reasonable. That part of Sicily is very built up but the hotel is an oasis of peace.

Beautiful hotel, very modern, very clean. Comfy beds, beautiful pool. Breakfast very nice selection of hot and cold food. Staff and service exceptional. Price reasonable. Only downside is expensive drinks from poolside bar.

Privacy and delightedness are a must in this wonderful hotel. I also highlight the design of the Spa and swimming pool, the rooms and of course the restaurant. Last but not the least, a very kind and helpful staff.

I booked a studio room with a double bed for one week. We were allocated a second floor studio apartment, with a good size balcony (with table and 4 chairs) which had views over the pool. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. All in the same room was a double bed, small kitchen area, and a sitting area with a couch, single chair, coffee table and TV. Large patio doors opened onto balcony. Good size bathroom with shower. The kitchen area had a fridge freezer, two ring electric hob,...

We stayed for one night, but would have liked to have stayed longer. Giuseppe is an excellent host and we had the best breakfast of our visit to Sicily. The room was generously proportioned with an excellent bathroom, and opened out onto the courtyard. The location is excellent and there are good restaurants close by.

Stayed here for 4 nights with friends. Drove past the entrance on arrival and had to take a detour to get back to it but once we arrived what a lovely surprise. The hotel staff are lovely. Our rooms both had French doors that led out onto the garden which was a nice place to gather and have a drink in the evening. The hotel is situated next to a busy road and railway line but we did not notice any excessive noise. We ate in the restaurant a couple nights and would also recommend this. The...

Super friendly staff. Right in the hear of the city.

We enjoyed our stay here. Room was good although our shower was quite dated/small. Hotel and staff were very good as was the food.

Very clean and friendly staff. The staff are always eager to help you.

Friendly welcome. Perfect communication beforehand. Beautiful big rooms. Gorgeous lounge for refreshments. Tasty breakfast. Good location for Etna Sud just 30mins drive away. Nicosia winery also a must visit close by. Hotel San Anton deserves a stay!

I didn’t want to leave! This is a beautiful hotel with what feels like botanical gardens, an amazing pool and right on the beach with Etna always visible. The staff are all super friendly from reception, to the pool bar to the wine bar, and can help to book taxis. The pool and main restaurant served great food and if you want a cheaper meal there is a local restaurant next door on the beach. It is quite remote if you don’t have a car so ensure to book taxis early as they are pricey. We walked...

I cannot express how wonderful our stay at Marty’s was- the owners could not have done more to make our stay relaxing, the property is beautiful, the pool is spotless and the breakfast is lovely, and almost all homemade!! Would not hesitate to recommend/ stay again! In terms of location… may be best to bring a car! :)

we stayed for one night it is more like business hotel , it was in good location (some moles around and 30 minutes drive to the air port ) plenty of free parking lots , and a modern building. the Hotel is charging extra's for the use of the SPA , also we wanted to eat some Pizza which we bought out side and the restorant worker did not let is seat in front of the resturant ... so we need to eat it at our room. beside that the Hotel was very nice.

We stayed here at the end of our Sicilian trip and used it as a base for both the north and south approach to Etna. It was just the bit of luxury we needed. The hotel really is perched on the edge of the cliff with moth a large pool (looking out to sea) and steps in to the sea complete with sea front solarium. The rooms have everything you need, the standard is fairly basic but does the job the classic is that little bit more comfortable ( we were upgraded part was through the stay due to...

Staff very friendly , clean and parking is amazing . Its perfect !!

10 out of 10 experience, my only advice is for the hotel to start modernise the interior before it gets to the point were people feel it is an outdated hotel. I would retouch the rooms with some plaster and withe paint, and change the carpets that look have been layed 40 years ago. I would have expected a fine dining experience at the restaurant, instead I found QR code rather than a good old and timeless paper menu, and please do not serve condiments in a light blue plastic container, it...

Excellent throughout. Close enough to enjoy the city center (15mins by car) and beach (20mins by car), without getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of crowds. Exceptional staff, both caring and informative.
