"good location, good attentive staff"

"Wonderful location, you jump into the pool then jump into the ocean. Great bar/restaurant near the pool and a very large breakfast offered. Service was very good, and we will definitely come back. One thing to note. Laundry facilities is not offered even though listed. They have a laundry service for a high fee."

"Das Hotel alles in allem Super. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zu vorkommend. Das Essens-Buffet war abwechslungsreich und jedes mal aufs neue ein Genuss. Das einzige was mich ein wenig enttäuscht hatte war, dass wir extra ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht hatten, aber jedoch von unserem Zimmer hauptsächlich auf eine große Baustelle und die Stadt gesehen hatten. Erst irgendwo hinter dem Gebäudejungle und auch nur wenn man auf den Balkon hinaus ging konnte man das Meer dann sehen."

"Superb hospitality with one of the best I have seen in Europe, pleasant and friendly staff. The location of the hotel is not only at walking distance to all major sightseeing in Funchal, but also have tour operator options nearby and within the hotel itself. "This was a reservation I’ve done for my parents and I heard nothing but good comments from them. Unfortunately, my father had an health issue during the stay and the staff was excellent. Called the doctor to come, ask all the time if my mother needed anything from their side. They were truly great on the support and for that I’m really appreciated. For the hotel, great spot, beautiful surroundings, quiet, clean, a very good breakfast ! For sure a name to save and a stay to repeat !"

"Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt auf Madeira. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, sodass man vieles bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. "Beautiful property with plants everywhere. A place to relax and chill amongst butterflies and plants! Staff and kind and attentive. Management respond to any issues (our frying pan needed replacing and they did after I fed it back. Breakfast has a good variety. The restaurant is nothing massively remarkable but a great thing to have close by as there are not many other places to eat in the area within walking distance. "

"Hotel is situated on a shore of the ocean, so through bedroom windows and balcony we saw only ocean, waves and had magnificent view. Food was excellent in the restaurant, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spotles. Highly recommended to everyone!!!!"
