"Property is beautiful. We were not there to golf, but the golf amenities were great. Nice location to quickly get to the tram to go into Edinburgh. Much bigger hotel than I realized. Our room was on the top and south facing. Room got really warm. The little fan in the room was not enough to cool things down much. Restaurant food at night was really good. Standard breakfast fair was good. Over all our experience was fine."

"Excellent location and staff was always helpful.
Air conditioning was not working in the room and when we ordered room service it got delivered to the wrong room. 2 hours later we got our food."

"Staff was amazing, very friendly, experienced reception staff, very helpful. But what they can't change is the rooms, the beds, the mattresses and the noisd. The night was a total nightmare, I did not get any second sleep and even if I had, it was do poud ij the middle of the night, no one could have slept during that noise. But that didn't really bother me much, because I knew I can't sleep in that uncomfy tiny bed anyway.
I can't remember any bed that I slept in, that was so incredibly...

"I was offered a bottle of sparkling wine in Expedia when I booked the hotel however there was nothing like that in the room. When I told the front desk, they directly gave the bottle to me.Not in the bucket with ice.. just a bottle of sparkling wine in a room temperature. I took it but that’s not what I expected."

"Booked a room with a sofa bed because we were 3 traveller but upon checking in we weren’t given one. When I asked why we didn’t get what we booked I was told cause I didn’t ask for one and that 2 people can share a bed!?! "Great hotel in a great location. The free water refill station was a nice surprise and the pool in the sister hotel next door can be used for free and has castle views. The only potential point of improvement for me: The mattress was a bit too hard for me as a side sleeper."
