"Can't say it was a positive experience unfortunately. Biggest problem was that there was no heating in the room: when I asked l was just told that "cold season arrived unexpectedly and heating is set to start from the end of October". I found it pretty ridiculous, heating and conditioning should be always available, even because different people have different needs and experience temperature in different ways. Also, October 12 is Autumn in Italy, cold can be expected anytime. I was not offer...

"The hotel is gorgeous. Very elegant. Felt like living in a palace. The staff were satisfactory but not very personable. It felt like the staff were aware of the luxurious nature of the hotel and acted removed. Maybe there is no way around it. We felt more personally taken care of in smaller boutique hotels. The breakfast was nice and rich. The communal areas of the hotel were very pretty and elegant. There is definitely a trade off in this hotel between the luxury and person-ability of the...

"Self-contained with a seasonal outdoor pool, a restaurant we’d visit again and a separate fully-stocked bar on the lobby level. Clean rooms, helpful staff and free airport shuttle on the half-hour. At least in theory (only because MXP can be extremely disorganized and chaotic for outbound international travelers — do research before booking flights), a great choice for a pre-flight overnight stay. We saw crews from different airlines staying and dining there and they all looked happy, so that’s...

Varese

"Good value for money, free parking is great, location is good if you have a car. Hotel room was as expected, the cost of breakfast and use of Spa facilities is extra and a little bit on the expensive side (which is why we did not make use of this). The sound proofing in the rooms is not great, you can hear the noise from the corridor everytime a door is shut or people walk past the room. Beds were comfortable and the room was well maintained. Overall would recommend the hotel based on the...
