However you can tell the hotel is extremely in need of maintenance, and housekeeping is stretched so thin that they are barely hanging in there - doing the minimum to keep the place running. Ultimately this hotel has had much better days, was probably a top luxury hotel once upon a time, but unfortunately, is being run into the ground."

"The place is good and quite close to the beach, 2.5 km from city center. The apartment are nice but the kitchen as no hob, nothing to cook, the fridge is not working, the a/c smells moisture. Terrasse table broken. The bed is ok but not prépare and the duvet sheet was missing. The parking is not on site free as described on hotel.com, it s 15lv by days. The free minibar is an empty fridge that not work fine. The breakfast is poor and not good. The swimming pool is really nice."

"I’m not sure this should be a 4 star rating, was more like a 3. Not sure we’re ‘luxury’ came into it! Lots of things were closed, games (mini golf, table tennis , air hockey) were either broken or not open. The spa was there but looked very dirty and forgotten about. Staff only spoke Bulgarian, with very few English words spoken by the very younger staff so not really international friendly. Rooms were mopped daily but not much else. Food was same every day except for one replacement dish a day...

"We booked and pre-paid for two apartments under two separate bookings. When we arrived, the owner asked if we could share a "two-bedroom" apartment. We agreed, but then were given keys to a one-bedroom apartment. When we decided we were going to stay somewhere else and started looking for another hotel, what did we find? Yup, hotels.com was still showing apartments available at this locations. A total scam! Steer clear of this guy."

"The hotel is situated behind St Marina complex which is extremely big. Despite the size, we found a quiet pool to relax next to. The main pool was busy and noisy. The breakfast was adequate. The location is good - within walking distance of Sozopol Old Town."
