"We loved our stay at Meliti hotel, the staff was very nice, and we are already missing the wonderful view. Breakfast was lovely and different every day and the hotel was quiet and relaxing. As the hotel is located equidistant from Agios Nikolaos and Elounda you would be better with a car, although at the bottom of the street there is the bus stop for both places. Nearby tavernas we tried were also very nice. "

"As we checked in we were given a room with non functional AC and stains on the sheets. Smelled like old. At the second day we were changed in a better room with much better AC and better cleansed. Rooms are generally very small and bathrooms are unusual tight. Food was excellent and more than enough. "

"The Coriva Beach hotel is a delight. Everywhere you look, the property is beautifully maintained, everything is just aesthetically pleasing, the staff is warm and friendly. The hotel is not opulently luxurious or overdone. It's a family owned place: three brothers took over the management of the place from their Dad. "The expectation was of a 4star apartment.The reality was a basic 2star! I realise it was a Cretan style building & have no problem with that but a few modern touches and some comfortable loungers etc would be nice.Crete is lovely and the people very friendly so we enjoyed our stay overall just not the hotel."

"If you are looking for serenity Dyktinna Villas is the place. This charming and quaint little village is a gem tucked up in the mountain side. Manoli and Maria are amazing and very welcoming hosts. For an authentic Cretan meal take a very short stroll through the cobble stone path to a restaurant called η Βριση (e Vrisi ). The owner Myrto treats you like family and will make you a meal that rivals that of a Michelin star chef. A truly magical place to experience. "
