Around the corner a convenience store and 2 blocks south a major shopping mall with movie theater and a diverse food court atop. Also 2 tram lines (1 to SNFC train & airport and a Westfield Mall / Gallery Lafayette ( also has a food court and famous brand names. Lyon does have UBER, no LYFT ... suggest not to use BOLT!! Great outdoor food market at metro Croix-Russe. I prefer to utilize the public...

"Beautiful monastery restored! Lovely breakfast included, great bar and restaurant, and lovely to eat and sip in the courtyard. I wasn’t aware when I booked it that it was at the top of the hill… hard to determine on a two-dimensional map! But what a treat to discover it! Easy 5 min walk to the Roman amphitheater, and another 5 min to the Basilica and the funicular to take you down to the old, lively city center. It was very hot while we were there and the A/C (like many European hotels) was not...
