"Check-in was excellent. There was a crowd of folks(a tour group) occupying the lobby. We could barely enter. The person behind the counter recognized it immediately and motioned for us to approach and check in.

"The hotel is ok - nice palazzo - and staff nice, but the surrounding area is very dirty. It also includes streets with prostitutes, and feels somewhat unsafe.
We had to switch rooms upon our arrival as the first room we were given looked quite bad- it clearly had not been renovated for numerous years."

"First impression of our room was “wow”! A revamp made it very easy on the eye. However! The shower didn’t drain away properly so towels had to be put down on floor to absorb overflow. Reported it three times to no avail. Shower jet by the loo didn’t work. Room had no kettle for complimentary tea/coffee and when we asked for one we had to wait nearly two days to get one that worked! Lovely swimming pool although small. "The hotel is located on Garibaldi square near the train/subway station and only 15 minute taxi ride to the airport.
