"Most people aren't aware of this property within Madurai. Pasumalai hills are lovely and evergreen. We liked the hotel location. But since the hotel is 1890 most of their rooms are very old. We had A/C issue and when reported we got alternative room with A/C was much better. Thanks to the manager asokan who took care of this issue with utmost care. "This property is an old style chettinad mansion which has been modernised but retaining most of its original features. It's beautiful to look at but does not live up to its 5 star rating and definitely does not justify its sky high room rates. The staff appear untrained and look baffled at simple requests.
