"The staff here was amazing check out was at 11 but the gentleman let me leave my bag so I could go to the castle. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful with questions. It’s a 5 min walk to train station also. The rooms are very cute and comfortable

"Beautiful, historic property. Rooms were nice, dining area was very historic feeling, enjoyed a nice dinner and breakfast buffet the next morning was varied and high quality. Outdoor dining is available weather permitting, grounds are lovely. Loved all the photos and personal items around the home, it was nice to see previous owners and uses, I love history, so this was a real treat for me. "

"Lovely atmosphere and great common areas. Room was also nice, however bad smell in the bathroom and a little dusty around the bed and lots of cobweb on the windows (when opening window spiders came in). Great staff. Restaurant waitress spoke only English and didn't know the meny but asked collueges. Breakfast - the homemade bread was a disappointment but the pancakes were amazing. Overall a lovely stay and would definately visit again!"
