Learn more about St Combs

Check out the local area in St Combs as you venture to sights like RSPB Loch of Strathbeg Nature Reserve.

Bailiff's Skelly This is another awkward square to geograph, though it's not hard to get to. The only land is a few square metres of rocky foreshore which is exposed only at low tide. Low tide today is well after dark, and when I visited it late this afternoon only a couple of rocks were above the water - only just enough for this image. It was a great relief when the GPS showed that I was standing on the very corner of the square! The rock called Bailiff's Skelly is actually still submerged.
