"Needs to sort itself out. Junior staff are great the main man on reception was surly and not helpful. For its star rating it needs to do more."

"Overall good experience.
It's a nice place for a lazy stay. only limitation is that the room I chose weren't facing the Banasura hills but I got royal family suite complementary for a day. Hence I can forget it.

"The Villa De 1945 is a beautiful building. Rooms are spacious and clean. Wifi is good. The location is central - close to the river walkway. I did find the receptionist when I checked not particularly welcoming but staff overall were friendly and helpful. This seems to be a hotel that caters primarily for Indian guests rather than foreigners. That is understandable as Mahe is not a common tourist destination. "
