"The room was clean along with the entire property. The airport shuttle ride was smooth. Just be patient because you will have to wait. This hotel is like older like decor so if you like them 5 star hotels you may not like this. Some portion of the hotel is outside which I thought was cool how the hotel was designed. Overall I loved the place and the staff is soo nice. Yes they speak Spanish but they also speak English. Room service was also awesome."

"Nunca había tomado este hotel como opción para hospedarme. Sin embargo, lo hice porque no había disponibilidad en otro que siempre me quedo. Y me tomó por sorpresa la alta calidad que ofrecen en servicio, calidad de habitaciones y alimentación. Me hicieron un upgrade de habitación, pedimos room service para un grupo de 8 amigos y la pasamos increíble.!!! Definitivamente lo recomiendo y seguiré reservando en el hotel!! "

"My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay."
