"This is a very old building and it has been lovingly and beautifully restored. Perfect location in York to stay. Easy walk from the train station and close to the York Minster and the Shambles market. Dozens of restaurants, pubs and shops around the hotel. Cannot wait to go back!"

"Room was wonderful, window with fresh air was so appreciated as we were both recovering from being sick while traveling. Monica welcomed us with an efficient and informative check-in and shared parking details and recommended we visit the Turkish Baths, so we did! Great location about a 10 minute walk from most things. All in all, a lovely visit, and wishing Monica and co-owner all good things. If we pass through Harrogate again, there is only one place we will stay!"

"Great location, easy taxi ride from the train station & we could easily walk to city center. Apartment was homey, spacious & comfortable with everything we needed for a 3 night stay, including a washer/dryer to do our own laundry. Definitely recommend staying here when in York "
