"We had the most wonderful stay. The location is just beautiful and it's so very peaceful.
I stayed in the Wall Room with my dog. It was totally dog friendly with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous shower. There was a bed, towel, water bowl and treats for my dog.
The restaurant/cafe was located close by and the food was lovely. Chef David has created a fabulous menu. The Sunday lunch was totally delicious. The restaurant staff were lovely. Friendly and very helpful.

"Absolutely beautiful, from the moment my wife and I stepped on the grounds, we knew we were somewhere very special. The staff are a credit to the grove and made a special place even more incredible. "

"Beautiful, comfortable boutique hotel stay with exceptional staff. Marie was wonderful, acquainted us with the history of the Castle and the wonderful hotel amenities. She even assisted us with extending our stay. Can’t wait to return for a summer visit! 5 star and a highlight of our South Wales adventure!"

"The rooms were lovely, warm and clean. Having a dog bed and food bowls was a lovely touch. The fridge was useful and we have plenty of space. The bed was very comfy.
We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fried bread!! The staff were amazing, we wished we could have stayed longer! "

"Overall excellent but a few niggles: the toaster is compact not full size so it doesn’t take a whole piece of bread; the basin in the en-suite is one of those stupid tiny basins in which you can barely wash your little finger; and the tap is the idiotic type with twist for water and temperature so to get hot water you have to have a raging torrent. Would prefer if the hot tub was screened from the adjacent property."
