"This island is beautiful with plenty of beach.We chose this resort because we enjoy snorkelling and we like a la carte dining. When we arrived we were told we couldn't have a la carte dining until our third night as the restaurants were fully booked. There was no comparison eating at the buffet to the a la carte restaurants and although the rooms were fantastic, the snorkelling ok we would not go back as we don't want to end up with buffet food. It was a semi-legal floating bar about 1 km off the coast of Mathiveri Island in the Maldives. Then one day it sank while the owner was on the island. Now it's a snorkel site, and an impressive one. Free dive about 7 meters down and you can swim around and through the vessel, coming across plenty of colorful marine life and bar supplies left just the way they were! It's an easy boat ride (10 minutes) from the pier on Mathiveri Island. #underwater #shipwreck
