Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Amazing experience. Fantastic staff and customer service, very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Cream tea was freshly prepared and scones still warm. Room was amazing with a beautiful lake view. Homemade shortbread in the room was a lovely touch. Breakfast was also amazing, lovely fry-up with good quality ingredients. Brilliant experience all round, we will definitely be staying again.

Lovely stay! Hotel was superb and very friendly! We highly recommend it!

Beautiful hotel & top class restaurant, can't fault it. Thoroughly enjoyable visit, perfect for that special occasion!

Fantastic on all accounts !! Location, food, service .. quality of hotel made our weekend away fantastic on all accounts would recommend again and again .. saw one review that complained about a slow toaster !! Well really !! This place is a gem right in the centre of Windermere ... this would be my first choice again on a visit ... many thanks to all the staff ..

I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We...

Beautifully presented hotel in a peaceful and scenic location. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and spotless. There is plenty of choice for breakfast and everything we had was delicious, although it is a little bit restricting only being able to have breakfast between 8.30 and 9.15. We didn't eat in the hotel in the evening but there are two pubs within easy walking distance to eat and drink at. It's a great location for exploring Windermere and Coniston and there are some lovely walks...

I stayed in the annex luxury apartments which are fantastic. Amazing comfortable king size bed. Luxury bathroom and living area - like a suite set up. Two large TVs and kitchen - the sort of place you would buy.

Recently refurbished old coaching inn. We stayed two nights and the location, rooms and food are excellent. It would make an ideal place to explore the Dales, like us, or the Lake District. Staff are very friendly and helpful, quality place to stay, though not cheap. Not a chain hotel, so personal service seems paramount here. Just a bit of info about the car park though. It's accessed by a very narrow alley which is hard to get through. If you have a very big car, you may find it easier to...
