Lovely room and fantastic location! Helpful and friendly staff. Amazing food & bar. Spa facilities were fantastic. The bed was uncomfortable but we asked for a mattress topper and it was brought to our room almost instantly. The bathroom was average - water pressure and temperature wasn’t consistent and weren’t supplied with a bath mat. £10 per day charge for car parking but overall really lovely hotel & staff.

The hotel was amazing the staff are super friendly and helpful. The sauna, steam room and pool facilities are brilliant. I was surprised that the hotel charged extra for guests to park their car. When I queried this I was informed that guest booking through third party sites like expedia have to pay a car parking fee. This was a £12 fee per night which I felt was cheeky. Hence the 4 star review. I also informed them that the sauna door does not shut properly which they will be looking into.

Stayed for a birthday weekend at this beautiful hotel, from the minute we walked through the door we where greeted with a smile and a warm welcome from Lesley on reception, she took us through everything and showed us to our from all with a constant smile, we had a cosy double with a hot tub and the room was stunning not small at all, we went for a walk into the centre which was lovely and prob took 7 mins, breakfast at the hotel was a standard help yourself buffet but again had everything you needed, staff at breakfast where friendly and welcoming. We used the spa which was lovely and we also ate lunch in the pub which was nice as well, again all staff we spoke to in the pub/spa where welcoming and very friendly, we went into the cocktail bar for drinks and where helped by Taylor and Findlay who where fab so chatty and helpful, we checked out the next morning after another lovely breakfast and organised a taxi to go back up station which unfortunately didn’t show, I was stressing a little but Alicia and Monika on reception sorted it by organising for Carl to drive us to the station, nothing is a problem for the staff at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and I would return in a heartbeat, the stand out at this hotel for me is the staff, only once before have I been on a trip where every single staff member I encountered genuinely wanted to help you and make sure you where having the best time the staff working at this hotel really are amazing. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Overall a very nice stay, staff all very friendly, welcome prosecco on arrival, trip in bentley which was nice, friend said spa was amazing although abit busy at times. only downside i didnt like is cost of cocktails were very expensive and over priced so didnt have any as refused to pay £15-18 for 1 drink. cocktails should be around £8-12. also my bed had two large dips in it which was noticeable so shame they didnt change mattress before i arrived and dips dont just appear over night for the price you pay you expect a nice mattress. This was springy and cheap. Not sure if i would return on not as i say overall was a nice stay but those little things let it down

This is an excellent hotel. Very welcoming from when we arrived at the gate, having prosecco when we checked in and then a guided tour of the hotel. Amazing room with a hotel tub, great cocktails and a wonderful breakfast. Would definitely return one day. If I had a minor feedback for improvement for the hotel it would be add a shelf for towels in the room (the heated towel rail often had wet bathing suits on it) and consider some complementary snacks served with the cocktails or coffee.

Considering this is a 5 star hotel, certain aspects weren’t up to standard. The bath was dirty on arrival, the bathroom looked a little tired with damp on the ceiling, the bin was broken and stained. The room and the bathroom were very small. The only thing that justified the cost of our stay was the hot tub. The man who works at the hotel entrance welcoming guests was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a nice quiet location, and close enough to walk into Windermere.

Lovely hotel, rooms tastefully decorated, added luxury having our very own hot tub. Breakfast was excellent, good choice and good quality. Staff very friendly and attentive. Things that need to be improved for a 5 star hotel is the spa. It is very dark therefore unable to relax and read a book, only 2 loungers and the rest are seats. No sound proof from wedding disco above so when trying to relax all you could hear was the thud of music! Don’t agree you should be charged for parking when you are a paying guest at hotel.

The hotel was loud and the beds were very uncomfortable. We were actually joking that they had the unckmfortable beds to sell more massages.
