"The Grand Hotel Duchi d'Aosta is the epitome of what a small luxury five star hotel should be. All the staff were committed to ensuring we had a very pleasant staff. Any small query we had was dealt with with alacrity to ensure our needs were met. The rooms were well furnished and the housekeeping did an immaculate job. The restaurant is top class, Michelin starred cuisine, and the food has an excellent range of dishes.

Due pecche: troppa plastica. La saponetta che avevo iniziato al primo giorno è lasciato per riutilizzarla é stata buttata e non sostituita neanche dopo richiesta. Seconda pecca intorno all’Hotel c’è veramente poco, anche se ben collegato con i mezzi."

"Lovely hotel located half way between Mirmare Castle and central Trieste, 5 mins from the waterfront, good bus service outside. Very quaint and old fashioned but perfectly functional and spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable. They provide rice crackers at breakfast, as an alternative to bread (useful if you are gluten free) Staff were friendly and helpful. Windows were double glazed in our 2nd floor room, so no problems with traffic noise. Free Wifi was ok for social media etc."
