"The hotel is fantastic! I found the stuff to be very helpful and accommodating. My room was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and large shower. The ac worked great. It is very close to the main train station which makes it very easy to get around Munich and take day trips. The only downside is that the area around the hotel isn’t particularly scenic and a little tired, but never once felt unsafe. I would definitely stay here again."

"There is virtually no lobby, no breakfast at property. Looks like low cost housing but rooms are ok. Bare minimum. Front desk not staffed 24/7 and actually closed holidays. Not a real hotel. Expensive for what you get. Good location but noisy area - across from casino. Hotel itself very quiet. Homeless people around. Felt safe but definitely not luxury property. "

"Stanza di standard senza nessuna particolarità. Pratica, ma sostanzialmente anonima. L'hotel non dispone di strutture idonee oltre alle camere: sala colazioni piccola, bisogna utilizzare la lobby che praticamente sull'uscita. Colazione stile autogrill, da evitare. Insonorizzazione e silenzio in stanza molto buoni. Un motel di alta gamma più che un Hotel."

"A perfectly fine hotel for the price. Has some nice quirks and style which make it much more interesting than a mediocre chain hotel with better amenities. The location is pretty perfect for foot travel across the city. The breakfast is nice. The staff is lovely. The rooms are tiny. The shower is tiiiiiny. I would still return happily!!"

"First trip to Munich. We tried to book a hotel close enough to park and walk to shops, tourist sites, and restaurants. The hotel lobby and restaurant were pretty and clean, but the room was tight and old-looking. The hotel was also in a rough part of town - gambling and strip clubs on the same block. It is also a neighbor to several hostels. We planned to have a nicer hotel, so this was disappointing. We definitely didn't venture out at night. We were a 15- 20-minute walk to the old town area....

"Very nice members of the staff in reception, bar and restaurant in particular John in the morning breakfast time, and extremely helpful. The room was amazing well decorated and the free beer and water are full marks. The shower was great and powerful. Something negative to say? A very long blonde hair in the pillow, not nice to find it but what can you do!?"

"Very disappointed with this Schwan Locke in Munich. We had stayed at the Edinburgh and had enjoyed our stay so we booked the Munich location. Right at the beginning we ran into issues. Poor signage for registration has you going from the main door on the right to the door on the left that has a registration sign with a small arrow referring you back to the other door. We pressed the door release and it wouldn’t open and the door was locked. I called the number with no answer and no response to...
