"Overall, our stay was excellent. The room was very comfortable, and the view of the bridges in South Isensferrt was absolutely lovely. We dined at the restaurant and were very impressed — both the food and the service were great. Our only issue was with the check-out experience. I had an important meeting at 11 and we politely asked if we could have a slightly later checkout — just by 30 minutes to an hour. Unfortunately, the staff member at the front desk was quite abrupt and didn’t respond...

"Something different with very helpful staff. Location for eating out options was excellent and the city tram was a 5 - 10 minute walk away so easy to get into the city from Leith. Even better the same tram takes you all the way to the airport and as it is near the end of the run seats and luggage storage are not a problem. Recommend nipping out to Cairngorm Coffee, a lovely local eatery for breakfast, and take a walk down to The Dean Bridge and along the Water of Leith Walkway to St Bernards Well and Stockbridge."

"Had a lovely 1 night stay at Balbeggie. Room was lovely with a lovely view out over the garden. Food was delicious with plenty of choice. Fantastic cocktails at a really good price. All staff were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will be back."
