" Hotel was very clean. Accommodations were as expected. The staff extra helpful (went out of their way to help us with a 2 year old baby on the trip)

"Mohamed the owner was amazing, such a passionate and kind person explaining his culture to us. He has a whole private collection of artefacts passed on to him from his ancestors which he happily shares stories of. He also organises rides to the temple via sea and land. The food at the restaurant was amazingly delicious, we had the tajin and mixed grill beautifully spiced and yum! Mustafa and Ali were welcoming with their hospitality and guiding us through our stay. This is a hidden oasis at Abu Simbel and I highly recommend staying here for the night to experience the magnificent temples both at night and sunrise. Shukran for a wonderful stay, from your Aussie mates!"
"5/5 — Amazing stay at Abu Simbel!
I had an excellent experience at this hotel.
The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was included and delicious.
The location is perfect — it’s just a short walk to the Abu Simbel temples. The infinity pool overlooks the lake, and watching the sunset from there was absolutely stunning.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Abu Simbel!

"This resort is huge and very beautiful. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We scheduled an early morning pickup luggage at 5:45am. The guy was very punctual and polite. We were luck to spent one night at Azal for our Abu Simbel Trip."
