"Villa Reverie is gorgeous. Aspect looking out across Lake Como is fabulous. Staff are excellent. Customer service exceptional. Would we go again - absolutely. Highly recommend. "PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. It was the most disappointing hotel I stayed at during my trip to Italy. 1. Outdated facilities — No fridge, no electric kettle, no elevator, weak water pressure, and extremely small shower space. Instead of key cards, guests are given a physical key. 2. Bug issues — There were many bugs around the property, and I even found dead bugs in the bathroom floor. 3. Poor accessibility and transportation —...

"We arrived at 5 pm. Although check in was at 3 we still had to wait for our room to be ready. The property was beautiful. There was a piano player outdoors in the evening that was fantastic. Location was great. Beds very comfortable. Think the service could have been better at breakfast. Never received requested 2nd cup of coffee."

"The room was a disaster; worn down bed, bathroom dirty, mold in the shower, etc … The girl at the reception was friendly and took the time to explain the neighborhood. But else the stay was not worth its money. The pictures on hotels.com are from a few years ago and do not show the current state of the room(s). Try to avoid this place if possible."

"Spacious room in a perfect location! Short flat walk from the ferry dock, and 5-10 min slightly downhill walk from the train station. Great air conditioning, even kept up during the heat wave while we were there. Didn’t purchase the add-on for breakfast, but did stop by the cafe located in the ground floor of the building for coffee every day. Nicely appointed room with lots of space."

"When I purchased the room it had different pictures of the studio. It never said that the red couch in the living room was sofá couch and that's where you would sleep. It said it had one bedroom , and it still does , there is no bedroom . The bed was a pull out bed from the couch . When I got to the room , there was no sofá couch.
