This was my first time visiting Agadir and my first trip back to Morocco after 13 years of living in the U.S., so I was really looking forward to this stay. Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel was disappointing.
Although my check-in time was at 2:00 PM, I didn’t arrive at the hotel until around 11:00 PM after a long journey. Sadly, the room I was given wasn’t ready. The door lock wasn’t working, so I had to change rooms. The second room had an extra bed added, but it was uncomfortable, there were no blankets, and the TV wasn’t working.
The next day, they moved me to another room, but it was still missing many essentials — no towels for the bathroom and again, the TV wasn’t working. I mentioned these issues to the reception, but the response I received was, “It’s not my problem; you should ask the person before me,” which was frustrating.
On the positive side, the staff at the breakfast buffet were very kind and welcoming, and I really appreciated their attitude. The hotel location is nice, and I enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere of Agadir.
I hope my feedback helps the hotel improve communication, room preparation, and guest service so future visitors can have a better experience. A simple smile, good communication, and proper attention to guest needs make a big difference.
