"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! "Very happy we found this place on Expedia .Excellent price compared to a normal “package”- Hotel arranged taxi transfer - superior double room was superb with direct pool access and the whole place was spotless. Peaceful and quiet and short stroll to a few lovely tavernas and a great little bar. Easy walk downhill to Almyrida but quite hard back up in the heat! We stayed for 14 nights and enjoyed a fab breakfast every morning - special thanks to the cleaning ladies who did a great job ( usually while we were at breakfast!). Although we didn’t hire a car it would have been an advantage. Finally all the staff were lovely particularly the breakfast staff."
