"Cute little homestay. The dog sounds like it is the biggest meanest dog ever... he is not. He is small, cute and really wants to be chased around the house. The rooms are perfect, AC, Bathrooms are nice with hot showers and a fridge. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Location is great, the town is super noisy and busy, this place is about 200 meters from the busy busy road. 5 minute walk to the beach. Definitely recommended."

"Well we didn't actually get to stay. We booked the hotel in April on Expedia/Hotels.com and when we arrived on December 27 we were shocked to find our booking had been cancelled. According to Sanmark they had cancelled all Expedia bookings (since they said no one who booked on Expedia were showing up) however we were never notified. "Fabulous hotel in a quiet convenient part of Galle. Easy quick tuk tuk ride to fort and great restaurants. Beautiful spacious clean room with classy furnishings and super comfortable bed. Pool area is lovely to relax and unwind. Breakfast was fantastic and served just outside the room on the terrace. Staff really helpful. Totally recommend this hotel. "
