The staff were quite helpful. We were very grateful as they allowed us to checkout a little later than 11.00am so we did not need to hang around for too long before our departure to the airport. They also arranged the taxi for the airport. The room service was quite prompt. However the hotel room was dingy and bedding, towels etc were stained. The room and the corridors was smelly. The window in the room overlooked building works and the workers could overlook into our room. It was very noisy and the staff talked loudly in the corridor. It seemed like someone was dragging furniture in room next door! Do not accept bottled water if you do not want it as it is not complementary and you will be charged for it. You can get it cheaper outside!

not quite what we expected

This hotel could be much better than it is. On the positive side - some of the staff were really good and internet access was good. The room was smaller than expected and the only window looked onto a bleak concrete wall - and for a non smoking room it had an ashtray in it. Sheets needed to be changed as I wasn't that sure about how clean they were. I strongly recommend the hotel use mattress protectors as a thin sheet between guests and a worn our mattress is not for the squeamish. As mentioned some of the staff were really helpful and kind - but others and management seemed not to care one bit. I felt the "breakfast" of an omlette between two pieces of white bread (no fruit, no juice) hardly could call itself breakfast. We checked out after one night although I had paid in advance for five. I have still had no response to an email request for a refund.

Serviceable place to sleep

Good location near old town, Sidi Sayeed mosque and House of MG. Helpful and friendly staff. Room was modern, but quickly worn. Bare walls. TV and fridge and safe new and functional. Smoke smell from smokers on same floor. Cheap good restaurant on ground floor. Basic breakfast appreciated. Serves purpose.

Broken windows, mosquitoes, scammers

Coming in to have a bathroom with broken windows, full of mosquitoes and dirty. I found a much better hotel, with much better service for about the same price. I cancelled the reservation within 2 hours and checked out. The checkout process, their communication (or no communication at all) was horrible.

lovely, very helpful staff

I stayed here on my way to a wedding. The staff were very helpful, and able to accommodate my every need. The rate was very reasonable, and included everything I needed (wifi, breakfast, printing).
