"Would definitely come back here if we needed a hotel close by the airport. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was not bad considering we arrived early before 5am due to jet lag. The options they had were good for our party of 5. It’s too bad we couldn’t eat lunch at the restaurant because it was reserved for a big group. Also, the complimentary airport shuttle was very convenient since it’s hard to get a grab for a decent rate for our party size. The rooms were spacious and everyone enjoyed their sleep and showers. Thank you again to the kind staff from the front desk, restaurant, bar, shuttle drivers, and even the attached massage spa downstairs."

"It's a vast hotel. On arrival there weren't many check in staff available. Staff were friendly. Breakfast is huge. Shuttle bus is frequent but I wasn't made aware of where it picks you up in the arrivals terminal. Served it's purpose."

"There is a shuttle service to and from the hotel costing 150 baht each way, the hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport. The hotel is old but has all the amenities necessary and the staff are pleasant and helpful. There are restaurants and Seven Eleven a ten minute walk from the hotel there are many dogs roaming around but they don't bother you. Good for a cheap one night stay close to the airport."

"Great staff. Each time I plan a trip to Thailand, I will keep the Vismaya Suvarnabhumi Hotel in mind for at minimum a stay after arrival and before departure. The pool is nice and breakfast has enough variety to satisfy a majority of people. Only downside is the neighborhood gets a bit creepy after sundown. You can bypass this by driving, taking a GRAB car (Uber or Lyft), or their shuttle to and from the airport. "

"This is a very basic hotel with limited facilities. The airport shuttle runs on a half hour cycle - it’s probably 10 mins to the airport, 5 mins to load/unload so 15 mins each way. Fine for return to the airport with the scheduled departures but on arrival at the airport, if it is full then it’s another 30’mins, so we ended up grabbing a cab. On checking in at 10pm the restaurant/bar was closed. All the corridors weren’t air conditioned and the AC was turned off in our room so it was 35C! It took a good 30 mins to cool the room down. The family room was actually 2 interconnecting rooms with the kids room having no door. So parents could end up with small kids locking the adults out and no way to get in. The rooms once cool were fine. Beds were quite hard but we had a reasonable sleep. So overall, you get what you pay for. It was adequate for a 9 hour layover but not much more"
