not always good to stay at a chain hotel

unfortunately the description on hotels.com website stated this hotel was 3.9 miles from Aix TGV - it was actually 10k, which caused a lot of problems getting to the station. In the circumstances, we were expecting more consideration than that the company would look into it and come back to us in due course - clearly they had the discretion to do something. we had dinner in their restaurant and discovered that the wine carafe had mould lying within the base of the bottle. We had to argue with staff that we should not have to pay for a replacement - seems obvious to me.

Notre séjour a été agrémenté d'une alarme durant laquelle nous n'avons reçu aucune indication: évacuation ou pas, utilisation de l'ascenseur ou pas.... Finalement après renseignement demandé à l'accueil il nous a été signifié que ce n'était rien! Heureusement pour les résidents! Des exercices d'évacuation dans les règles de sécurités sont à envisager pour la sécurité de tous.

Chambre avec 2 petits lits au lieu d’un grand lit suite à une faute d’inattention de ma part. Mais surtout chambre au rdc face a parking éclairé toute la nuit, avec chambre sans volet et gros rideau qui n’opture pas du tout la lumière du parking et de leurs dires ils étaient complet alors pouvaient pas me changer de chambre… ce qui me surprend plein de chambre ou j’ai vue personne de la semaine… brefs quand je demandais à une fille a l’accueil > tjrs derrière son portable c’est insupportable…

Chambre pas faite

A notre arrivée la réceptionniste moyennement serviable nous a donné une chambre non faite avec les lits défaits et des poubelles au milieu de la chambre. Après réclamation, on nous a donné une autre chambre : la clé magnétique ne l'ouvrait pas, nous avons dû redescendre pour la réactiver. Une fois dans la chambre, le 3ème lit qui était dans un canapé, n'était pas prêt. Une fois le canapé deplié, les draps dans le lit étaient en vrac et tous froissés et les 2 autres lits assez mal faits. Les lits ont été faits correctement le lendemain et le reste du séjour s'est passé normalement mais nous n'avons reçu aucune excuse de l'établissement concernant cet incident.

Simple mais bien

Expérience sympa. Parking gratuit. Chambre propre, simple mais bien. Salle de bain impec. Petit bémol sur les oreillers que je n'ai pas aimé. Le restau La Boucherie, dans l'hôtel, est très pratique.
