Very nice staff at reception, the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom is quite small but the shower quality was excellent. Located very centrally and with lots of underground parking nearby.

Great hotel but parking is not on site

We had a lovely stay at Hotel des Princes. Initially we were very disappointed as before check in we had an email to explain that parking was off site. We specifically booked this hotel because it specifies on-site parking and I wanted our hire car to be safe. This hotel has a special rate with a couple of multi storey car parks and the system worked well, it's just not what we wanted. Aside from this, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were so accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay again

Room was excellent. I learned that when Expedia says parking available it does not mean free or close by. We had to pay parking and it was a few hundred meters away so we were not happy with that. The hotel location was great for access to the old part.

I've stayed in many hotels, but I've never been so impressed. I'd particularly like to highlight the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, as well as the fantastic, imaginative, and culturally appealing amenities of the hotels. For example, upon entering the breakfast room, I was offered an explanation of the breakfast details. The hotel's location, right in the center, is also great. All of the important spots in the center can easily be reached on foot. I do have one small caveat, though. I was somewhat surprised that the hotel management demanded a guarantee in the form of a charge to my Visa card to cover any damage I might cause (e.g., smoking). To my knowledge, this is rarely required.

The smell in this hotel is absolutely vile. The rooms smell like raw sewage. We asked to change rooms because of the stench, and they accommodated us, but the second room was just as disgusting.

Expedia described my room as having a double and a single bed. It had a double bed and a fold-out single sofa. Fold out sofas are NOT the same as beds. It's a known fact. I was not happy to find that is what I had booked. Otherwise, the place was great.

Convenient but just 1 night plus parking problem.

It was lucky I called about parking that was listed as available because there was an event and all town streets were closed and we had to park in public carpark and were told they would hive us a ticket to get out in the morning we presumed was free. But suddenly we had to pay 11€ and drag our luggage much further than "just behind" because drop off was impossible. Otherwise OK stay. Noisy floorboards and cleaning products on carpet made us sneeze.
