Cet hotel est tres bien placé, mais les places de parking sont tres compliquees à trouver. La chambre est correcte et propre mais la salle de bain date d'un autre temps.... refaire des joints de douche n'est pourtant pas un investissement délirant. Le wifi est inexistant dans cet hôtel, aucune connexion internet n'est donc possible hormis en partage de connexion téléphone. A voir des avis datant de plusieurs mois, il est firt dommage de constater que la direction de cet hôtel ne prends pas en compte les avis constructifs laissés... Pour ce qui est du personnel, l'accueil et le chek-out furent irréprochables.

Vétuste, sans charme, néanmoins un excellent accue

Baignoire abîmée, balcon double fenêtre sur rue avec supplément sinon chambre sur voie ferrée… 1 serviette par personne, pas de serviette pour les mains ni si vous en voulez une pour vos cheveux malgré réclamation. Chambre vétuste sans charme, une bonne rénovation de l’ensemble de l’hôtel est nécessaire. Je n’y retournerai qu’à cette condition.

The staff were very nice, very accommodating. When we checked-in, a drunk man came in, shouting he was "Pere Noel" (Santa) and took a lot of sachets of coffee creamer. It was surreal and I have no idea how anyone would respond to that, let alone at 10pm, alone (if we hadn't been there) in the lobby. The room was very basic, but was clean and not overbearing, with a window view of the railway tracks and mountain. As described, except there isn't a room with one double and one king size (as stated on this website, but not by the hotel). The breakfast was a good continental breakfast; the highlight attraction is a fresh orange juice-squeezing machine, where you put in oranges and watch it squeeze your juice. There was pain-au-chocolat, croissants, two cheeses, a toaster, coffee machine with multiple options, slices of ham and honey/jam tubs - with orange and apple juice (separate from the machine), and water. Also, some fruit compote and yoghurt.

Convenient, comfortable and good value

This Ibis hotel is ultra-convenient, comfortable and good value, with all facilities top class. Breakfast is good and starts conveniently at 6am for people catching an early train. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. We have stayed before and will stay again when visiting or stopping off in Chambery.

Good base near the station

Good base only a moment from the station and five mins from the town centre. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom quite basic but clean and good shower. Very quiet room even though overlooking the station. Friendly English speaking staff.

Everything was positive, the only “but” would be the limited options for breakfast. But it starts at 6am so it’s great if you plan to lesve early. I would book here again.

Clean place for a short stay

The room is ok, it does the job, it's very basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. It's a place just to sleep. The room is not pretty, the bathroom is slightly old and the views are to the train rail, however there is a double window so you don't hear any noise. I would recommend it for a couple of nights. Also, it's just 2 min walk to the station.

Cet ibis style n'en a que le nom et pas le style. la chambre est petite et la moins chère avec vue sur triple voie de chemin de fer mais ça on ne vous le dit pas sur le site hotel.com. En contre partie , le personnel est sympathique . Hôtel juste équivalent à un ibis budget et encore !!!
