"Room spotless, very courteous and helpful staff. Amazing view from windows (though they could do with a bit clean, provided of course it's safe to do so as the room is on the 15th floor). The hotel is bit hard to find as there's no sign on the front of the building although the hotel does try to contact the guest on the day of check-in to help locating the hotel. Good tv with some English channels. It would be nice to have a soap dish holder in the shower. Overall a nice experience, I recommend...

In general, if you want to be around old down town and see the real Alexnadria, you can benefit from the location but rather than that, it is not the best place to enjoy a good, comfy and quiet stay. "Le Metropole is definitely the best hotel in Alexandria, and our best in Egypt. The minute you step in, you feel special. Loved the historical grandiose and the tentative service. "Our suite wasn’t cleaned once during our stay, only once did someone try and we told them to come back but they didn’t.So no towels no water replenished.Also no breakfast included in our booking which was a surprise to us."
