"The room was very modern but they have chosen form over function in the bathroom. The sink is just a slab without a bowl. This causes water to splash on clothing especially during shaving or cleaning teeth. The partitions doors were broken. The lift would not go up to the pool area unless you 1st went down to the ground floor and the ability to cast from your device to the tv did not work due to slow wifi but the in-house netflix did work after a period of buffering."

"The Cullen is a lovely hotel, it’s just starting to show signs of age and wear. The balcony that we paid extra to have was dirty, the furniture just an old cracked table and 2 dirty plastic chairs. The penthouse is so nice, it is a shame that there are cracked pavers on the balcony, some are raised and are a tripping hazard. It a sad to see the hotel not being maintained. "

"Oaks Melbourne St Kilda road was just what we needed for a quick city trip. A bit out of the city but well served with trams just outside the front door."

"A basic but very adequate hotel. No bar and no restaurant (except for breakfast) but honestly you don’t need those when in this area - there are so many eateries and drinking establishments in the vicinity. The rooms are very large and spacious with good showers - absolutely fine hotel in a great location. Not luxury but very comfortable- would stay again. "

"Room clean. Reported leaking tap in bathroom. Not dripping but continually running and unable to stop it. Couch comfortable. Bed comfortable but not stable. When partner turned over in his sleep the whole bed wobbled. Had a beautiful meal at Dad Vietnamese restaurant around the corner. Easy walk to Prahran train station "

"Location is ideal if you are attending any sporting events as it is on the border of AAMI park with easy access to Rod Laver arena and beyond. Richmond and all the bars and restaurants is just a corner away. I was very happy with the location. There is some road noise at night but nothing that limits your sleeping."

"Room was ok. The complex is a motel, not appartments as advertised. I had a problem guest next door who was constantly arguing and slamming doors and riding a motorcycle around in front of the rooms. Some arguments were with motel staff. Went on all 3 nights I was there. Ruined my stay. "
